About Us

Rhino Construction Group serves the Southeast’s commercial, retail and religious construction projects from its Tennessee headquarters.

We were founded in 1975 by Guy Harrison originally as Harrison Construction. Upon his retirement, his son, Richard Harrison, redirected our primary focus from general contracting to a dynamic design build and construction management services company.

Because of these dramatic changes, our name needed to reflect a broader company. So in 1995, Rhino Construction was formed.

BJ VanCleave joined as partner in 2000, bringing 30 years of commercial and industrial experience.  In conjunction with BJ joining the company as a partner, the highly specialized retail services group was formed. Then in 2007, another autonomous division specializing in Construction Management was created. Rhino keeps growing!

Rhino negotiates 100% of our work and has earned the reputation for providing high quality, full service construction and professional services across the Southeast. We have long-term relationships with multiple Fortune 500 organizations and 90% of our projects are from repeat customers.
